When you reach the Crystal Cave on Dantooine, there are a load of Kinrath eggs. I'm in my third time through the game and I want to know if the eggs serve any point or purpose other than being bashed open. In K1, there were crystals inside the eggs, but there aren't any in K2. Did anyone manage to find anything but a lot of gooey green stuff that erupts when you bash the egg?

I think its part of cleaning out the cave.

Oh. Oh well. Thanks anyway.

In Kotor 1 there were crystals inside the kinrath eggs? I never had that. Everytime I tried to use them it would say that they are very fragile and would easily kill them. The only things I got crystals from was the crystal formations. WTF???

One of the side quest is to kill all the creatures in the cave. So I would assume that means the eggs also.

There are crystals in the eggs if you bash the pulp out of them. It'll say "Items Recieved" and look in your inventory to find the new crystals.

In KOTOR I there were Red Crystals in the eggs. I guess because the game gave you the line about the egg being defenseless and you smash it anyway they think your a red saber kind of guy.. though it didn't give DS points.
