Can your Jedi NPCs be a Prestige class later?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I didn't seem to find any relevant post with a search of "prestige class NPC" parameters.

 

Just wondering if it would be possible to select a prestige class for each of your JEDI NPCs as they level up the same as your JEDI PC. Would seem kind of odd if you can't. If not, what would be the reason why not.

I doubt they would do this prestige class ability for your PC to use only.

I really hope you are right. Wish one of the devs would post a confirmation. Would be cool to have more than one prestige class Jedi in the party :D
