It's a cloak people.

 

Batman wears a cloak, Superman wears a cape.

They call him the CAPED crusader

So? They call Superman the man of steel.

 

But yes, I looked up the definition and I was wrong. Technically they both wear cloaks. I was confused because I had thought a cloak needed to incorporate a cowl/hood. It's just longer than a cape.

 

Edit- Damn. I'm typing as bad as Volourn today.

Only thing I didn't like is how the mask kind of attached itself to the mouth.
