October 4, 200421 yr Since Obsidian is using BioWare's existing technology (with some upgrades), would it be possible to import the data files from KOTOR and play the game with the updated engine? The main advantages would be better animations, more feats/powers, and cooler Jedi robes. I'm sure its not quite that simple, but would such an idea be too difficult to implement? - Fin
October 4, 200421 yr Basically you would be palying the same game again. So no Idon't think it is worth the time! Better put their efforts on the sequels of KOTOR. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
October 4, 200421 yr I'm very anxious to import new clothes, faces and weapons to KOTOR 1, and many other things. Maybe some files from TSL will be helpful when I'll start making "leviathan mod" that will give you more options on this ship. HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.
October 4, 200421 yr Author Basically you would be palying the same game again. So no Idon't think it is worth the time! Better put their efforts on the sequels of KOTOR. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I wouldn't really expect the dev team to do this as I was thinking more along the lines of the mod community. Perhaps one of the devs could fill us in on the feasibility of the idea, and give some mod makers some ideas for such a project. - Fin
October 4, 200421 yr Man, I'm tired of this Leviathon bug crap People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
October 4, 200421 yr BG1 was ported to the BG2 engine (TUTU whatchamacallit), guess this might be equally feasible...
