Not enough evidence to clearly prove anything, but in preview articles, the development team have expressed an interest in increasing replayability. I think including as many endings as possible would certainly increase replayablility.

 

It's just something I'm hoping for.

Do realise that it is thank to Jar Jar that Palpatine was able to create the Empire!
