Iolo Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 A similar game would be fine. However, a similar game also wouldn't be a great seller (just a good one ) so that's something to keep in mind. It seems the market is less for a game like PS:T.
huey27 Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I think the potential market for a PS:T sequel would be much larger than the original one was. The game has become a cult classic and many have gone out and bought the game long after it went out of print. In fact, it's hard to find it on ebay for under $50 nowadays. However, I think it would be a hard game to reproduce and it would be a better idea for obsidian to try and make a game that is in the tradition of PS:T rather than a sequel.
The Griffin Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Exactly. Ask whoever wrote the main storyline of PS:T what kind of story he/she wants to write, and let them do it, and design a game with that. That would be Mr. Avellone. Who is sort of a genius. Without the "sort of."
