Stargate: 2000 Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 I know you will be asked at the begining of the TSL as to how you completed KOTOR, but the thing I haven't been able to find out is will they effect the alignment of the PC (i.e. if you went DS in KOTOR then will your PC start off more DS than if you went LS during KOTOR)? Sparky Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 What i don't understand is, if you are not going to be playing as Revan, What does it matter how or what you did in Kotor? Unless you are playing as Revan in disquise, or it somehow effects the storyline. Just my thoughts
Stargate: 2000 Posted September 7, 2004 Author Posted September 7, 2004 What i don't understand is, if you are not going to be playing as Revan, What does it matter how or what you did in Kotor? Unless you are playing as Revan in disquise, or it somehow effects the storyline. Just my thoughts <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But you don't play as revan you "MIGHT" see revan but you don't play the entire game as revan so it does matter a fair bit as to how you played the first game. How I am not exactly sure but the devs said it would matter. "The only difference between genius and stupidity is genius has its limits!" - Albert Einstein. MaGuS Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 iw heard that what you answer on the questions about Revan wont affect the aligment off your PC.
Dusai Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 What i don't understand is, if you are not going to be playing as Revan, What does it matter how or what you did in Kotor? Unless you are playing as Revan in disquise, or it somehow effects the storyline. Just my thoughts <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It matters in terms of any cameos from KOTOR characters. There were options to kill every NPC in the game except T3, HK, and Candorous, so their fate is strongly tied into how you played KOTOR. Also, it is assumed that the fate of Revan might be disclosed through the plot of the game. The circumstances of his fate are intertwined with his alignment at the end of KOTOR. Finally, and this might be wishful thinking on my part, but how you ended KOTOR might have an impact on how NPC's interact with you, as you are a Jedi. I imagine that if Revan went darkside, the general opinion of NPC's might be that the Jedi got what they deserved from the Sith. If you went lightside, their general attitude might be a bit more tragic and Jedi-friendly.
