As the title says, I wonder if there's a simpler and commonly agreed way to call those effects. Every time I found myself scratching my head for a word like you can just call the other type of effects hazards.

They are usually called Pulse effects, or pulsing spells 🤔

Venom bloom contain 1 status effect (one roll) and 2 pulse attacks, every 3s, if i remember correctely!

We usually use "pulse" to differentiate those spells which do a new hit roll (the pulse) every 3 secs from "dot" spells which only roll one hit and then do a status effect that "ticks" every 3 secs without further rolls.
