Black Widows - I think I’ll uninstall now.

Where do I start? What is wrong with Obsidian?

Wolf Spiders become so easy you can take them down half asleep with no need for mithridatism ever since they made poison and venom tick so slow a pot of water boils faster.

The next evolution of spiders the Black Widows are a massive spike in difficulty.

The genius devs that are Obsidian think the spider that already attacks faster than all other spiders in the game should get a berserk mode that makes it attack even faster.

The result is the spider is so difficult they have to reduce the quantity of Black Widows to just a few and isolate them in a few dark caves that are essentially completely optional encounters when they should be essentially an upper yard Wolf Spider replacement; stalking the upper yard at night and terrorizing the kids.

What is the thinking here?

Black Widows don’t need to attack faster than their already fast base attack speed. Get rid of the berserk mode and they will still be challenging but also much more enjoyable to fight.

Sure if you have a stack of muscle sprout smoothies, a sour weapon and armor max upgraded you can shorten the fight so much that fighting them is tolerable. I still think the berserk mode is overkill and completely unnecessary.

It would be nice to see more black widows if they weren’t stupid overpowered like they are short of having the absolute best gear to fight them.
