Supernova was a huge part of the first game for me. I only played that difficulty and did it three times. The survival stuff made it feel really immersive and exciting. I’d love to see something like that come back in The Outer Worlds 2. Every decision mattering so much was perfect.

Same, although I would much prefer if they tuned it differently than Very Hard, which honestly seems broken for any balanced or roleplay character, i.e character which aren't exclusively damage and armor.

Being able to do supernova mode on Hard or an equivalent would be better, especially with mortal companions (no one would survive the final boss of the vox relay).

I play on Very Hard difficulty without any point in mellee and only 1 point in range weapon. Yeah it's hard to play before you reach 15-20 lvl. But game allow you to abuse dummy NPC AI. So I free to spend points to max uncombat stats like engineering lockpicking etc. But ofc if you have skill issue then play without combat skills on Very Hard is not your way

I couldn't agree more. I am waiting to buy Outer Worlds 2 until the Supernova mode comes!

It was such a meaningful experience with all of the eat, sleep, drink options mixed in with a great difficulty balance, no fast travel, etc and something that made you really think about your choices before setting out from your ship.

I'm sincerely hoping they add it! I'll pay whatever!
