Even with sizzling armor, fresh mutation and eating mint I only last a few seconds to harvest Everchar Coal. Just run very quick and break it and then run away again to cool down before losing to much heath. If it is low again run to collect the few shards and run away again. I read somewhere that the problem could be fixed with respawn but that did not work. Respawn to a Lean-to did nothing and respan to nearest Outpost worked for a short while. Next time I played the game I kept burning again. I hope this is fixed with next patch cause I wanted to gather enough Coal.

In the Icecar I can keep walking around with the right gear and the freezing meter won't do anything.

This is no different than the grill area in Grounded 1.

Yes, it is. Then with the right gear and aphid shoes you had time enough.

Grounded 1, you would just wear full antlion set, turn on fresh defense, and increase your max health with molars.

Yes, and now even with full sizzling armor, mutation fresh defence, max health with molars and eating mint  (98% sizzlereduction) I still have only 5 seconds before sizzling meter is full and I start losing health. Just enough to crack a rock but not enough to collect it.

Then you're doing  something wrong. I tested it and it works fine. I can crack two coals and collect them before max sizzle.
