I had some concepts for an AX.L armor set and weapon. it’s all mage stuff, cuz the mage only has two weapons and two armor sets, it needs more.

 

-robes of the overlord-

 

Mage armor— decreases stamina used by mage weapons.

 

Underlings— increases health and damage of summons and buggies

 

-set bonus-

 

Summon threat— Increases the threat of your summons. (or maybe the set bonus could increase summon cap?)

 

-Staff of the overlord-

 

—Attacks summon spiderlings (put a limit on it? related to stamina/ amount of stamina each attack takes? maybe just a # cap that items could increase?)

 

—high stamina cost

 

—charged attacks launch globs of tarantula venom (maybe webs? maybe summons orb weaver jr.?)

i personally feel that rolling the strategist stuff and summons into mage would be interesting and flesh both out more, and with the archetype system, giving each boss two armor sets would allow for more reason to fight them, and leave more people happy. Additionally, i am aware of the nightcrawler armor set (the leaks are hard to avoid) and do know that the chest piece has flavor text pervading the concept of summons, but i just want mage to get another armor set and a more hands on way to get summons in exchange for being squishy. i know that this might not get added with how close the update is and such. but it would be cool to see, and  it would help out a class currently dying of thirst. (oh, and also even if it cant get in with this update, i hope you consider saving the design/idea for a later one, sorry if the art sucks either way)
