I've finally beaten the final boss for now and while combing through the secret lab i've acquired snail shells. So i'm trying to make the full shell armor set and the only piece i'm missing are the snail eyes. I've killed 14 normal garden snails and not one has dropped the eye stalks. I'm thinking the latest update removed eye stalks from the drops.

Hello, to get the snail eyes, shoot at the base/stalk of the eye with arrows and it should drop them, I had this problem aswell lol, so I just tried shooting at the eyes and now I get them a lot!

It's such a pain getting snail eyes, they SHOULD change it. Make them drop more!!!

At least make drop rates different for each difficulty maybe. I like having to work for things, it's a nice way to relax, listening to a TV show while farming mats, I love it. But I have time, other people might not have as much time so it makes sense for drop rates to match difficulties. I don't know but I do love the game...

Simple way to do find snail eyes is if you go on to your map you're actually able to locate resources individually. Provided you have already obtained them once before you can search for snail eye stalks and the radar will show on the map which snails will drop them.

I think they only drop for the big snails.
