ElderSpacer Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I'm on my second playthrough, and it got me thinking. If a character we've used carries over into DLC, I would want my Wizard(first playthrough) to carry over. The question is, how easy is that if you've played new games with a new characters? I see all saved are dumped into the same folder(on PC) even though you can't see more than your new characters saves. I'm hoping either we create a new character or the game will see all playthroughs and ask you which one to continue with. Not sure if we've heard any news on how this will work or if someone from Obisidian can shed some light?
omgFIREBALLS Posted March 24 Posted March 24 In-game your saves are grouped by playthrough, so clearly the game can make sense of it. I see no cause for concern. 1 My Deadfire mods: Out With The Good | Waukeen's Berth | Carrying Voice | Nemnok's Congregation Other Deadfire work: Deadfire skill check catalogue Avowed skill calculator
BlinxESP Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Hey, I had no idea a DLC was on the works. I am about to start a second playthrough... Amazing game. Bleste amazing game. A new companion? Wow, that seems hard to pull off, right? I mean, the stories of each companions seem so tight to the locations. Anyway, glad to know this game is reciving some love. A juicy DLC could me more than welcome.

Expand Obsidian haven't said so, but they have told us there will be a roadmap posted. If DLC is planned, it will surely be part of it. 1 My Deadfire mods: Out With The Good | Waukeen's Berth | Carrying Voice | Nemnok's Congregation Other Deadfire work: Deadfire skill check catalogue Avowed skill calculator
BlinxESP Posted April 21 Posted April 21 1. As someone mentioned, you have the playthroughs storage in different groups. Go to Load and you will see them name with the name of your characters. 2. My guess is that the DLC "story or content" will come inmediately after the ending. If you notice there is something quite tricky. When you load the last save of a playthrough where you finish the game, the game start loading just before the end credits... My guess is that, the DLC content starts just after that so you can keep playing with a character you have. 3. So far it seems the game has approaximately 5,9 million players worldwide, which is way more than PoE 1,2 million. Still there is no official news, but it seems Obsidian will provide a roadmap soon of the future of Avowed. Or at least people inside the office have leak that.
