Hi I just got the game last night and don't see a way to make my character left Handed. Did I miss it in character creator? Can I just use weapons in my "Off Hand" or is there a penalty?

Thank you for the help, I just started so I don't mind remaking my character to make them left Handed.

There is a setting you can flip on, istr seeing some sort of “swap hand” option there while looking at all the customization switches to play with.

I'm on Xbox and I didn't find anything like that unfortunately. I found invert Horizontal Look but that just changes the direction you push on the joystick to look. Southpaw controller setup but that just switches what each joystick does.

I basically want my LT to be my main hand and ideally the bows to be mirrored. It's just really unnatural looking playing this way and annoying not the biggest deal but I figured there has to be a way to do it that I don't know.

for single handed weapons You can decide what hand to equip your weapon to by using LT or RT in your inventory when equipping your weapon.

For two handed weapons I would assume you can use LT or RT but i not tested that,

Failing that you can invert your LT and RT by remapping your controller.

in-game you cannot make your character left-handed. Left hand is the designated "off-hand" and there is no way to change that. As a RL leftie, I have tested 🙂

You can wield a weapon in your left hand, but then you lose the parry ability. You cannot wield a shield in the right hand. Neither wield a grimoire in the right hand.

As I'm on a PC I cannot speak of controller rebinds.
