Dedline Posted October 28, 2022 Share Posted October 28, 2022 Xbox Game Pass PC version of grounded. I have been playing on my desktop pc and gaming laptop for about three weeks, daily. Around 60-70 hours of playtime into one world save. Playing solo. This afternoon logged into my pc, loaded my game, played a few min, saved and quit. Tonight, logged in and the main menu took longer than normal to load. Just shows logging in for a while. Approximately 45 sec - 1.5 min. Then when the main menu shows up, I select single player, hit continue, and there are no saved games at all in my saved games window. 10-14 saves, whatever it was, gone. I did nothing but power off my pc's and back on when I wanted to play next. What is the issue? How disheartening. Just got my first tier 3 weapon last night. Obsidian Support Please make sure to include the following: 1. Platform (Xbox Console, PC Game Pass, PC Steam). 2. Multiplayer or Single Player Game (if multiplayer, can you tell us how many players in total in the game, and their platforms if known) 3. Difficulty level 4. Description of issue. 5. When I first got on after the update. I was stuck in a section as shared worlds. Not single player saves. I thought deleting the shared world saves would fix it. Now my saves won't show and won't let me continue the the game. I tried uninstalling. Reinstalling and I tried file check integrity. Disco_Trump Posted May 1, 2023 Share Posted May 1, 2023 Yo it's almost may 2023 xbox xs game pass and played for over 90 hours in game on an online solo world over the course of a 2weeks and log on today and my saves are gone...(sry no punctuation I am VERY angry rn and on my phone) as far as I am concerned this rendered the game unplayable as it is a survival game and if you can't save you start day 1 everytime you play smfh 0/10 would not waste your time on this until it gets PROVEN it is fixed as via this thread it seems this has been an ongoing problem.....waste of my time 100 hours of my life I will never get back (should be illegal to waste someone's time as we only have a finite amount of it) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
connor.jones147 Posted September 19, 2023 Share Posted September 19, 2023 Just had this issue, where my friends and my shared world lost its primary save after 60~ hours. 1: all on Xbox 1 2: multiplayer shared with three of us 3: medium 4:can’t load the world as error “primary save missing” appears 5: slept in a bed at our base, saved and quit after save was confirmed. jmagg88 Posted September 6 Share Posted September 6 game wont show any saves, afraid to quit. on PC using Xbox game pass single player game set to low difficulty i died from falling and tried to reload a save that i had thought i had made manually and it set me back an hour instead of the 10 mins it should have been, since then the saves have disappeared from list and it wont let me save manually Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We just played 3 hours, I have the max 10 saves. We went out for a bit now we came back to play another hour all the save games are gone. Like the image posted by OP. I really hope we didnt just lose 1 month of progress. Obsidian games are infamous for savegame issue I am also unable to save altogether on POE2 but thast another much older story. Beyond frustrating. This is most likely caused by the last update. Try enabling crossplay at the main menu and your saves should return. amber6701 Posted October 14 Share Posted October 14 Just tried to log in from Steam on my PC to see if the Halloween Event was working or not, but I run into this message. What exactly does this mean for me as the creator and host, and my co-op players that have (or had) access to it? Their saves are completely missing after January 1st now, and mine still shows the last played as October 1st, which is correct, but no longer found. Have we lost all 250+ hours on this save? I have been sharing the game with a few friends on Switch, and they also cannot access it. I tried to create a local copy and reshare it, as suggested by other posts on Reddit and otehrs, and I cannot create a shared world at this time.
