The game crashes on starting a New Game

Single-player (tried both offline and online modes)
When I try to start a New Game, the application crashes on the loading screen after naming the yard world.

I'm having crash issues as well. It was working fine before it went retail. Single-player works for me but multi-player does not. Once I join the lobby and pick a character it will load into the world and as soon as it loads I can see the world for about 1 or 2 seconds then I'm looking at my desktop. I assumed it must have been a network issue since single-player was working so I decided to forward some ports on my router to see if that fixes it. No it does not, I even uninstalled the game and re-installed it and I'm still having the same issue. My PC is overkill for this game and like I said, it worked fine before release. Any help would be great, I don't play single-player.....
