Increase number of coop players

Surprisingly few coop games allow more than 4 players to join. (1)

Please consider increasing the maximum player limit, assuming there are no significant technical reasons that prevent it.
It will make your game stand out, and you will gain 5 happy customers on the spot.

Please increase Maxplayers! We are in 2025 theirs no reason to max cap at 4 Players anymore. I need to constantly have multiple game files going to play with different friends because we can't include everyone in one game and friends get left out. Allowing dedicated servers would also help as friends could come and go as they please and don't need to wait for the OG file host to be online to play and progress. Frankly, if the game devs won't support more players I'll just be modding the game down the road it just sucks that it won't be native support because it absolutely should be. Just scale the enemies depending how many players are on. Looking forward to Grounded 2 just wish you guys liked having money so we could buy more then just 4 copies

Palette Swapped colors for the characters outfits like 8bit and 16bit games did when you picked the same character! Or an expanded roster of characters. Or give us outfit options. Whatever it takes to expand the player count. 

 

This would also allow for some fun PVP. If you bring back the game editor, I'd love to make some PVP Capture the Flag, Freeze Tag, and Hide and Go Seek maps, if it's not something the devs want to tackle. I'm sure it's a community of creators who would love to have more rules in the content creator. If there is an animation I could add, it would be a catch animation! Let me throw my buddy a Granola Bar, Smoothie, Weapon, etc.

Maybe you could even just customize your own character, they wouldn’t have custom voice lines or anything but just a fun way to have more players, I wouldn’t want anymore than 8 players tbh

Definitely would love the player cap to be at least 8 and if someway we could have a online server aswell either that be hosted by you guys or a home server with one that can be locally hosted would be awesome aswell or even a dedicated app on a computer to make it easier for people without the knowledge so they can set it up for there friends or kids and I rekon it would make for an increase in people wanting to play especially if the app just has it so you add all of the players from your friends list have it able to connect to all devices and you can whitelist your friends that want to play, even have it so max cap is 8 players at any time but sometimes not all people play at the same time so you could then have alot more people able to play that world just not all on at the same time.
