it should be changed to holding down b to remove blue prints. having it as a tap just means i unintentionally remove blueprints i've placed. it's super annoying and i can't fathom why it's like this. it really sucks to accidentally remove a blueprint that was one item away from being finished.

I can agree with this, dunno why anyone wouldn't unless they like deleting items on accident.
