Foundations not stopping grass growth

When we place clay foundations the grass will still grow through, this also happens to pebblet foundations.

Is this a bug? or do clay foundations not stump grass regrowth?

It is a bug, a very annoying one at that but fingers crossed, right?

A temporary fix is that grass/weeds dont grow through wooden foundations and/or grass floors. This is also related to proximity, e.g. weeds werent growing within 2-3 grass floor spaces of my base floors/foundations. I also used this to stop grass/weeds growing that were affecting my ziplines....

I'm sorry that you all have been dealing with this issue where the grass is growing back into your bases and world. This should be fixed in the latest hotfix patch. Please let us know if you're still running into this issue.

Hey I am really annoyed I built my base on the rock opposite the ranger snackbar outpost and grass has been growing through my base even though I removed the stems. Had to pull my base apart and get underneath to clear it all out which was extremely annoying and now it's back again even though I read that the new update was meant to fix this.
