I love the variety of insects already present in grounded but I have several ideas for more. The first would be to add butterfly's to the game. They would be solitary insects that hang around the flower garden. Passive even when provoked they would fly away when attacked. If killed they would drop Butterfly meat, a proboscis and/or wing scales. The meat would act as normal. The proboscis could be used in the trophy and also as in a new item, that being a whip. It would have a longer range then most melee weapons and have the chance to snare larger enemies. The scales could be used in a new powder that when used on an enemy would make them shimmer allowing them to be tracked. It could also be used to make signals or possibly armor.

Another suggestion for the proboscis is to combine it with bug rubber and two acorn shells to make a pump. You could use this on items to extract liquids. Like use on a flower to gain nectar, dandelions to get latex, maybe even kill a wolf spider and sacrifice the other drops to gain more poison

If you see light at the end of the tunnel get out of the road!

I actually suggested this weeks ago, if you scroll down and look at my post. I also said something about using the wings as a glider too. XD
