I'm sure someone suggested climbing already. Other survival games like Ark and Conan Exiles have climbing... and I think it goes without saying that kids and bugs are pretty good climbers. But I also know its a bit overpowered sometimes and there needs to be areas and mechanics to limit climbing. So I like to propose making it a mutation as to A) make it an unlockable mutation so players don't immediately climb all over the place. B) uses stamina as a resource.. stamina runs out.. you fall. C) take damage.. you fall D) some areas climbing is restricted (map boundaries, quest areas, etc)

An alternative would be some sort of climbing gloves which B, C, and D still apply.

Related note.. most bugs should have some climbing ability.

Add clawed weapons for improved grip. Though some surfaces would be unclimbable like the bricks, glass, plastics and metal.

If you see light at the end of the tunnel get out of the road!
