February 8, 200421 yr Curious again... will you guys be having stock for some additional funds. I might be interested in buying some (as well supporting the (RP)G industry), not to mention making sure a good game might be made (I'll consider myself a longterm investor ).
February 8, 200421 yr uh, stocks were never good to gamedevs. take eidos, iply, anything... dangerous thing, if you asked me. course you don't, so... Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
February 8, 200421 yr Author Problem with IPLY was that over 70% was in hands of a certain french dude, focused on money, rather than the honey. What's the story behind Eidos anyway? I don't see why I shouldn't be able to 'help' out by buying stock. Or let it be a certificate without voting rights, so that OBS can run itself, without interference of a hostile (shortterm) investors? Or is such a thing not possibly in the US?
February 8, 200421 yr What's the story behind Eidos anyway?(...) oh, eidos' stocks had gone up by about 500% or more after tomb raider 1 & 2, and caused other publishers to become greedy, too, and almost run to their doom. eidos lost all of their newly money slowly afterwards, dunno about the current situation, though. February 8, 200421 yr Putting an unestablished electronics company up for grabs is the worst thing you can do. If the burst of the internet bubble thought us anything it's that investors don't care about these fledgling companies and love nothing more htan to make a quick buck out of it. February 8, 200421 yr But on the other hand we could have an investor's forum like Interplay! Experience the thrills and spills as your stock plummets! I don't think it'd be a good idea, don't mix business with pleasure/crasy fans. >*
