Dear Obsidian Team,

I think it would be awesome, to tame some Bugs. Like Ants for riding them, to travel faster. Maybe tamed Ants also can transport up to 20-30 leaves, for building bases and stuff. And other Bugs have other abilitys.

Love this game so far and hope for a lot of new Contend in future.

Have fun at Work,

Taming has probably been one of the most requested features since the early access launched.

Check out the Grounded Feature Board for some of the upcoming ideas.  Pet Aphids and using pheromones to control ants seem to be some of the first "taming" features in the hopper.

Yes please. We want to ride ants and lady bugs or hell yeah, SPIDERS! 😄

I definitely think grounded needs taming. And I've though about how you could just hatch ant eggs and keep them as pets. Then you could assign them to a pallet to make them keep it full of stems or grass so that you reward the grind at the end by eliminating some of the grind. Then you could take lady bugs and make them mobile pallets. You have to fill it yourself but you could build a weed or grass pallet on its back and have it follow you to make building in harsh or scarce areas feasible. Also it would be awesome to tame flying creatures as mounts.
