Beta's / Pre-releases?

Where are the various youtubers getting the pre-release for new(er) content?   We, at least on Steam, are "early access" yet those items are not available nor is the option to "opt in" to a beta available.

I think they're using Creative mode.

I don't think so.  I've used creative mode.  The latest video I found, has quite a bit of the pond north of the tree fleshed out with Koy, etc.

I wonder if popular streamers received a different version than the one that is out?  If you watch Legion Gaming, in one video he received a box with some clothes from Obsidian with the game.
