I've been wondering if there is any plans for adding building components that require electricity, and considering the BURGL base has some lighting working it leads me to believe there may be a plan.  I would just like to know what is anyone elses thoughts. I am also wondering if there will be any stronger materials added like metal and stone.

Burg-L mentions fixing the batteries when you first talk to him.  I'm guessing/hoping we'll get electricity in the future and craftable items to use it.  There's all that wiring running from the laser beam tripods we could tap into.  might have to have a long extension cord depending where you base is :)  and if that's how it's done i'd like to see bugs able to damage these cords we lay out.  mites could chew on them like they did that laser power cord, except break them.  Then we'd have a dead mite at the broken section we need to repair to restore power.

i can see a jurassic park scenario where the base power goes out because some mite munched on a power cord...and then a wolf-spider slips in through the electricity fence into our base...
