Slime mold sconce stoped working

So I like the light they give off around my base but they all seam to stop working after a day or two. Im not sure if thats how they are supossed to work or not. It seams like a waste of materials if thats the case.  

Seems like a bug as the sap lamps continue to work.

Happened the same to me and I still didn't find a work-around, it is possibly associated to the Slime Mold Torch timing and we will have to wait for a fix.
