Hello,

im almost finished with PoE1 and started looking into PoE2 and need some Guidance.

I have the following Party member in mind going after a pretty balanced set up (are these Build still viable?)

Eder with  Blackguard Build

Teheku with Deep Sea King Build

Maia with Gunhawk Build

Xoti with Lightbringer Build

Now comes my Character: What would fit the Party the best? I want less micromanaging because i played a rogue in PoE1 and it was a pain to play.

I thinking about either Wizard, 2nd-Row Melee (reach) or a Ranged Class. In addition who should handle detecting/disarming traps? Which passive skill do you recommend to focus on?

Thanks in advance

Aside from Eder, the rest of your companions are casters or ranged, so I'd recommend that your MC be a melee oriented character. If you are thinking of wizard, you might consider an arcane knight, especially the Steel Garrote/Blood mage multi-class. It is very powerful, dealing great DPS while also being very sturdy with strong defenses and excellent healing. But of course there are many other possibilities as well, including Tempest, Witch, Sage, etc. And don't forget Herald; a paladin/bellower multi-class with sasha's singing scimitar is pretty OP!

I thought Xoti was meant to be melee since the guide said "striker" and she had melee weapons if this is false then im open for a melee tank/off-tank build.

Teheku already multiclasses as Chanter is the Herald then needed?

I prefer simple combat builds over micromanage ones. I looked around and The Redeemer seems fun and tanky. Thoughts?
