Armor stats not added to companion stats

I equipped a new leather helmet with medicine +3 for Nyoka which had medicine listed in skills but it does not show the +3 in brackets. It works for sneaking with armor. But why not with helmet stats?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
