Um, Obsidian? I think you mixed up Arachnophobia and Acrophobia on your HUD. (Screenshot inside.)

The HUD should show an icon that indicates a fear of HEIGHTS. Not spiders.

Arachnophobia is the fear of spiders.
Acrophobia is fear of heights.

I think the designer for this got confused? There aren't even spiders in this game (so far as I have seen.)

I think it's meant for climbing. if you climb a ladder the spider is there, and when you step off it it goes away

Looks like an honest mistake to me!  Funny enough to leave it as it is, I'd say... 😄

i think this is the icon for every mob related phobia.
