Is there an option on this forum to go to the first unread post in a thread?  Annoying to have to scroll down to find what I haven't read.

Yep. It's the yellow dot/star to the left of the thread title:

Ahh thanks I was thinking it would be in settings so didn't even notice the yellow dot.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
