Don’t know how much I can get into spoilers stuff, so beware....

My playtime is 1D .  Im going through the prison on Tartarus to rescue Phinneas.

As soon as I try to enter the room to confront Chariman Rockwell, my game freezes, makes a horrible sound continuously until I manually exit the game, or I leave it and it crashes to my dashboard,  I’ve hard reset my console(XB1X), un-installed/re-installed, with no luck.  I’d really love to be able to finish this first play through completely before re-playing the game, I was really into it and having an amazing time, and would like to finish this first save.

I tend to overwrite on 1 save file, then have the few auto saves, all the auto saves are stuck within the same glitched area and are no help, so I really think I might just be stuck and have to start over...but any possible help to avoid that would be appreciated!

As much as is needed. QA folks generally can appreciate specific and well detailed bug reports.

I have same issue on PC version.

I ’m in the second round of game play. I did not met this issue on first time.

Situation is

  • Unlock the door by terminal
  • Into the room
  • Shutdown game (no crash report)

I'm experiencing the same issue. Literally the first bug I've encountered all game.

SAME problem here on Xbox One X:

Supernova difficulty. When I entered Rockwell's room with Ellie and Vicar, hard Xbox 1 X freeze crash (loud stutter noise, have to dashboard exit).

Now, when Ellie and Max died, or I removed them from party, I was able to enter the room normally. Vicar was equipped with Gloop Gun and Prismatic hammer. Ellie with Mind Control Ray and Ionized Paper Knife

I tested this multiple times from the autosave. I was able to enter normally SOLO 3 times and crashed 3 times with both companions. Seems related to the companions being in the party

Not sure how to upload saves from Xbox, let me know how if need it

So it appears somehow companions ARE to blame.  Removed Pravati and Ellie from my party, and was able to confront the chairman with no issues.  Unsure why, but apparently having teammates isn’t allowed to face the chairman.  One on one, or the game doesn’t allow it for whatever reason.

Hi,

Had the same issue on PC, the game kicks to desktop when entering the room.

Followed Clownboy's advice but only dropped Ellie (also had Felix present) and the conversation started.

Went back and only dropped Felix, and the game crashed again. Seems like Ellie is the problem?
