While fighting the Mega Mantiqueen in Devil's Peak Caverns, it put me on fire and I wouldn't stop burning. I kept using the emergency medical inhaler to stay alive, but it just kept going on forever. I saved while I was burning and when I reloaded it was burning for a little while, then it stopped.

Hello, LostMikely.

I'm sorry you're having an issue with the burning effect from the Mega Mantiqueen. We have our development team looking into it and hope to have a fix for it shortly. To expedite your request, you can send an e-mail to our publisher, Private Division at support@privatedivision.com. This will get your issue into their queue and allow us to prioritize requests to ensure the fastest possible turn around time. We apologize and thank you for your feedback.

I had that same glitch on my first character.

I, too, had this issue. PS4.

Found a temporary workaround:  I attempted to leave the cave, hoping a loading screen might reset buffs and debuffs with a check and Nyoka stopped me right before the exit. After the dialogue, I wasn't burning anymore.

Same type burning forever bug encountered with the MantiQueen near Fallbrook Crossroads and the Weston Sloan NPC.

(Thanks for the tip on saving and reloading LostMikely.  That workaround for the damage bug worked for me as well.)

Still doing it on Xbox One S in 2022. So Obsidian hasn't looked into this or have they fixed it. So this is one more Obsidian game I won't be playing. And if they keep it up with this type of support for their games, I won't be playing any new Obsidian games. I'm SICK and TIRED of these gaming corporations doing this to consumers. So if they won't fix it, I won't play it.

3 years and still no fix?

Guess we have different definitions of "shortly"  FFS.

Having burning issues too, but in Monarch. Once on fire I can't find anyway of putting the flames out, so they burn continuously. It just makes the game unplayable. Really would have thought they would have found a fix by now...

Still happening 14 October 2023. Such a shame as I was going to buy the DLCs but not now and probably will not buy anything from Obsidian in the future. They're just like every other game company, releasing games that are broken and never bothering to fix them.

I had to save and reload for the burning to stop also, here in September 2024.
