During the endgame your character is sent to Tartarus Station to rescue Phinneas Welles. As you navigate your way either with stealth or deception or good old fashioned gunfire you will eventually find your path leads to what looks like a studio room inside will be Chairma Rockwell and when you enter the game will crash and shut down. On 6 separate attempts I tried this on my Xbox one and 6 times it crashed in the exact same place. Given that this is on the missions' direct path and it's a mission you must complete or you can't leave the station it has really ruined the gameplay experience.

I have been getting the same thing on PC via the Game Pass. Tried resetting to the previous stage. Repairing and resetting the app, Reinstalling the game, Hard reset of the PC. Same thing. Crash right as you enter through the doorway.

I've had the same issue. The quest name is Brave new world. Console freezes and then kicks back to dashboard on xboxone Everytime you try to enter the studio room were the chairman is in the Tartarus prison. Entering the room triggers the crash. Only way to avoid it is to open the door stay outside the room then kill the chairman from outside before entering. Probably a cutscene issue on that area. Most likely when you enter the room a cutscene or something is supposed to trigger but instead it's a crash.

Hope they fix it, not everyone reads forums or the web for alternate temp bug fixes.

I have the exact same crash. I hope they fix this soon... this is about as gamebreaking as a crash could get. It sucks because it seems like its really important but my only option is to shoot through

Yes, it's this room.  Me too. 

I'm having the same bug, I've attempted the above and even tried updating graphic drivers, lowering graphic settings etc. No luck.

Hello, during the final mission of the game, after you've made it into the Prison, I crash after I unlock the door into the chairmans office or interview room what it looks like, I hear the un-disguise sound go away, and the game hard crashes to desktop every time. 

 

Event viewer lists the following errors: svchost (9496,R,98) TILEREPOSITORYS-1-5-18: Error -1023 (0xfffffc01) occurred while opening logfile C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB.log.

The game is impossible to finish. I am on PC.

Well thats useful. Better than shooting him dead before entering the room i suppose. I'll give it a try next playthrough

 

Had this too.  Sending your companions back to the ship also fixes it, though I would like to have known what they might've said after that. Not that there was much left.

Would've helped a lot to have them for that big robot, though. I got through it, but I brought Parvati and Nyoka in heavy armor for a reason.

Same Problem.

I also tried if you can deplete hologtaphic stealth, but even when the last bar is empty it crashes.

I am dealing with this same game ending bug on an XBox One.

Will try the alternate entrance to see if I can complete the game.
