So Ive come back to play after about 8 months. I used to be able to clear Arkemyr's manor basement pretty early on because you could single pull each room. Now it seems that when I aggro any room other than the one with the plants in it, the immediate next room also aggros eventually. Is this a new change or am i just being daft and positioning badly. Granted I'm trying it earlier than i probably normally did so it takes a year and a half to kill those steel clad prototypes, but my question is more about the aggro mechanics. I can imagine that they changed this in order to encourage people to use the robes/sneaky path, but zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. All the mages in this game seem to be very stupid smart people who to the letter are blithely unaware of whats going on around them, so i just want to kill all their stupid creations, but probably can't do them all at once lol. 

Where the robe, then you dont' need to fight anyone and do the quest much earlier

Are you playing on Turn Based mode? Aggro works a little differently and will pull more enemies sometimes.
