Unable to use consumables within the inventory. Unexplained/broken?

I'm just going to go ahead and list this as a bug (or oversight?) based on another thread I made. I'm really hoping that other thread was some attempt at implementing use items from inventory but was broken or not properly implemented.

Go to topic listing
