Do we have any idea if the game is finished with patch 4.0? Is there going to be a new roadmap for future content? Is there going to be more future content at all?

I've already been through the game once (before the 3 expansions) and I want to make sure it's the final version before I go into again.

Check out the 'devs: content complete?' thread, ser football. Short answer - it looks like no more dlc but 1 more magrans fire and some balance tweaks.

It seems to be pretty much content complete. Devs are still working on some things (including one extra challange) but if there are any other changes beyond tweaks and patches is unknown. During recent stream they said that they will clearly communicate when game will be completely wrapped up, but Forgotten Sanctum was the last major content. 

I would not be terribly surprised if there were two more megabosses (a wilder, and a spirit) to round out the different categories of enemies.

I wouldn't complain if they added more Gods Challenges. You can always have on for each variation: Tangaloa, Amira, etc...
