Status Effects Stuck on Screen

Hey all,

 

Every so often, status effects will stay stuck on the screen (like the words) long after the effect itself has worn off. Is there any way to get rid of that overlay? I've tried exiting and reloading and still no dice. Any help would be appreciated.

Same issue here, I've had "Unlocked!" stuck on my screen zone after zone, as well as red damage numbers. Reloading auotsaves doesn't seem to fix it for me, but restarting the game does. Quite annoying, though obviously not game breaking.
