Any Tips to Improve Performance?

Generally the game runs great, but I had some trouble recently with large groups of enemies. Is there anything in particular in computer or steam or game settings (or other things) that might make this better?

If you have a higher end PC, this may be of some use to you. I'm on a gaming laptop and this help me get a few more frames.
