Pls! Somebody tell me! When?  In which patch, supplement or year. Fix hide highlighting AoE spell area in expert mode. Obsidian insistently ignores this bug.

Still sometime this year - maybe(?).

The issue, along with a few other related ones (like this or this) has been acknowledged since shortly after release though.
They're likely not ignoring the issue it's just that it's obviously not very highly prioritized.

Patience is a virtue and all that.

  3. Adjust your preference.
