What companion builds do you /wish/ were possible?

So if I don't use summons anyway it's actually great?

Most of the spells are pretty underwhelming. I almost always used Shield Cracks instead of his early character specific chants. His chain lightning isn’t bad, but a drop in the bucket on POTD. Even his big tornado in the end game underperform Sip From The Marrow in everything but diameter, and Tekehu is no slouch when it comes to intelligence.

 

The only character specific spell of his I loved was his party-wide elemental resistance buff.

Anti-Leaden Key Aloth would be good as Wizard/Goldpact Paladin since he is obsessed with details as much as Orren and needed to earn money for living during last five years. For Shieldbearer he has too good dual-wield/two-handed potential to be wasted, IMO.

I'd like Thaumaturge or Arcane Knight for Aloth.

 

I do wish they'd just leave the combinations open to you aside from the main class. Waiting for something like the IE mod to customise the game to my liking.
