daver Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 So I noticed in the inventory screen there is a slot called "grimore/trinket". I know that's where an actual grimore goes to give access for more spells with a wizard. But other characters have this slot also, but can't use grimores (unless multi-classed wizard). So what does the term "trinket" mean? Are there actual trinkets you can find and place in that slot? I thought at first it might be for those little summoning figurines you can find or buy, but I tried to place one in that slot, but it wouldn't accept it (slot turned red).
Boeroer Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 It was planned to introduce special trinkets for every class: Grimoires for wizards, instruments for Chanters, token of faith for priests and stuff like that. Unfortunately this got cut during development. Maybe we can have it in an upcoming DLC. Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Purudaya Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Given that they haven't changed it after two patches (in fact, didn't they actually unlock the trinkets slot for non-wizards after release?), I would be really surprised if this content doesn't make it into upcoming dlc.
daver Posted July 3, 2018 Author Posted July 3, 2018 Thanks, that's good to know that at least it was planned, if not implemented into the game. Hopefully they will patch something in for non-wizards in future patches or dlc.
misterjimmy Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Maybe obsidian can add unique trinket for our companion.
