For a wizard single-class character, how many spell slots do you acquire per character's level ?

And how many uses per encounter my spells have ?

 

I'm playing a level 5 wizard, and actually, I just can cast 1 fireball per encounter, which is great, but I just want to know what next levels can bring.

Single class character gains + 1 ability point per level + extra 1 when reaching new power level.

 

As you level up you will be able to cast 2 spells per spell (power) level + an option to use empower to either empower a spell, or refresh half of your resources (up to +1 spell per spell level).

 

That’s a lot of spells.

You never get more than 2 spells per level with the exception of (a) very questionable items that allow you to increase spells per level at a fairly huge penalty (most notably the grimoire thats sold in Arkemyrs shop if i remember correctly)

 

Not sure how good the AI at exploiting that grimoires downside in particular but if the AI is worth anything the grimoire should be unusable. (Though i doubt the AI is programmed specifically for that one item)
