On the provided save file, whenever I try to move into The Brass Citadel, the game returns to the main menu and I get the following error:

"There was an error loading the next map. Returned to Main Menu to prevent save file corruption."

It only happens when I move to The Brass Citadel itself, not any of the child areas (Fleet Master's Office, for example, is loading fine. I just can't exit it)

 

I've tried the steps suggested in this thread, but nothing worked thus far.

I think maybe re-installing may solve it, but it's really a bug that should be fixed, so I figured I'd report it.

FYI - I had another post with the same problem. A "verify game files" in steam found one problem, and after doing so the issue is fixed.

I tried to load my save game today, still have the error message, There was an error loading the next map. Returned to Main Menu to prevent save file corruption. This is the 6th game I have restarted because of this bug.
