June 3, 20187 yr Author idea: make the initial transformation a drake and add the dragon transformation as a late game upgrade that replaces it This was my initial idea, but the main problem stems from getting animations to work. Most skills will just hang there and not do anything, or the certain model/animation group. Rather than try and edit all the skills to work with all models, it was easier to stick to a single one. I should note, I just played around with this in POTD and it certainly doesn't make the game any easier. Which is, in my opinion, a good thing.
