Kono from Koami's story

Vendor from Sayuka, women named Koami has that story about joining Royal Deadfire Company. That she meet the guy named Kono, fall in love, wanted to live with him but he scared and run away, joining military. Then she did the same. She was assigned to a ship and served in RDC. Kono left RDC and went to poetry school.

 

I guess Kono is Kana Rua himself. What do you think?

I felt like that was the most likely explanation.
