Despite being tagged as "fire", Searing Seal does not appear to benefit from Scion of Flame.  It also does not appear to do correct damage; empowering a searing seal suggests a much higher damage than it actually does when triggered (and the SHIFT tooltip does not show any power-level related boost).

This is a similar issue to Warding Seal not doing the correct damage and not benefiting from Heart of the Storm:  https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/99293-warding-seal-not-doing-correct-damage/ and https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/99945-10102-priest-scion-of-storms-and-spirit-of-decay-passives-are-no-ops/

I suspected that Searing Seal would be similarly affected, but this is an official player confirmation of it. Linked is a dropbox folder containing a quicksave with Xoti with both Searing Seal and Scion of Flame selected in a room I was attacking NPCs with to test the damage/penetration numbers: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i6dopp2ywfmh65h/AAB6UVb96z8TfvKDfwb7N6Tra?dl=0

Hi, I'm currently playing with the beta patch 1.1 and found same problem: both "Warding Seal" and "Searing Seal" aren't respectively affected by "Heart of the storm" and "Scion of flames".

disappointing, i was hoping that this was secretly fixed in 1.1.

do you know if warding seal damage is fixed in 1.1? it always seems to do less damage than in its description

I tried for Searing Seal, the damage doesn't reflect the description.

Tried vs the neketaka guard outside the bathhouse, with 8 armor and vs Ganor inside, potd.

The description says a damage of 22-38.

The lowest dmg was vs Ganor: 16 or 17.

The highest dmg still vs Ganor with 22.

The range vs the guard is similar, 16 to 21.

Empower doesn't add damage neither duration, still having the same damage even if in the description should suggest a range of 33-57 and a duration of 23s.

To get these numbers you need to empower, cast and then look at the description.

Tried also "Warding Seal", again the damage is out the range of the description. Lower.

Didn't try many times in this case, but I got once 40 of damage of the 48-59 displayed.

Empowered and placed before combat:
