So why did you take away Exclusive Fullscreen one week post release?

As the title says. I preordered the game on GOG and the release build actually had exclusive fullscreen! Imagine my surprise since both PoE1 and Tyranny only had borderless. Then, the game updates anddddd back to borderless windowed we go.

So what is the reason it was taken away? Surely there must be one.
