You will be dead ASAP while it pulses because of the big raw damage. 43 base that scales up with might.  It was 50 on my Paladin before I speced out of it .  The self damage numbers cant be right, maybe a typo?

I was getting 83 with high intelligence. Thought my Paladin would steam roller everything until i died very quickly after activating it.
