Durring the quest a matter of import i somehow managed to lock the quest out of finishing. I delivered the scientist to the workshop and she gave me the diving helmet, i then went straight to the underwater ruins and i think doing that caused the fleet master not to be able to talk to be. I cant turn in the quest and thus cant finish the rauatai questline. please if anyones found a work around i really want to continue the questline

I've just encountered a bug for this quest as well. It actually gave me the dialogue for the next parts of this quest, (Spoiler: I went, killed the coral machine/ kraken, but when I went to turn in there wasn't an option. I checked my journal, and it still has the quest listed as "Matter of import- So and so is going to meet her contacts."
